I'm back again with another post about my skincare routine and the products I use on daily basis to fight acne and eliminate acne scars. However, you have to keep in mind that the products I am going to mention in this post might not suit your skin and the condition of your skin so take this post with a grain of salt, okay?
Before I start, I might as well explain a little bit about my skin condition. I have a fairly clear skin during my teen. I was not as fair before as I am right now due to walking home from school in a scorching hot weather but I also didn't have any skin problems. Sure, a pimple or two might pop out during that time of the month but all in all, any imperfections can be covered with just some light powdering.
However, I had a bad allergy reaction during early 2014 and my hormones were all over the place because I was stressed out about something that happened in my life. It had taken its toll on my clear skin and I was hit with tons and tons of acnes around my cheek area. So my mom, being a good mom she was, bought me a skincare product to fight my acnes. I used it for about 6 months before I got bored and decided to change to another skincare although I still have a lot of acne scars from the sudden breakout.
So during mid 2014, I started using Dnars for sensitive skin. They are very easy to use. In the box were soaps, a day cream, and a night cream. I used it for about 9 months and my scars were 80% healing. But then on March 2015, I went to Malacca with mom's side of the family and I ate a humongous amount of seafood. No kidding. The next day, well you guess that right. I had breakouts! Clear skin no more.
Since then, I have been using Dnars on and off. I wanted to try some other products but none of them were giving me the result that Dnars had given me prior to my second breakout. So I changed my skincare to Dnars again and never have I changed it ever since.
I tried their toner and yellow cream, too. Both of them were really good! The toner stings my face a little bit but that's normal with sensitive skin like mine. The yellow cream is bomb dot com. Use that and the night cream and you'll have a perfect skin. However, I do not recommend Dnars to people with normal skin. As you may know, local products are very harsh to the skin. If I had the skin that I had during my teenage years, I wouldn't be using Dnars, to be honest. I would get some affordable drugstore products and be happy with my clear skin. Hmph.

During the day:
I wash my face as usual with the soap. After that, I use the day cream. I occasionally wash my face once or twice throughout the day.
At night:
I do this right before bed. I wash my face with the soap and put on the night cream and go to sleep straight away.
I scrub my fave twice or trice in a week with St. Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish Control. I swear by this! It leaves you with a very soft skin after using. But please don't scrub too hard as you might cut your skin from excessive scrubbing.
One other thing that I use is The Face Shop Aloe Vera Fresh Soothing Gel. To be completely honest, this stuff does nothing on my skin in terms of clearing out my acne scars but it is exceptional in soothing and moisturizing your skin especially when you just spent a day out under the sun. It helps in cooling your sunburn but it does not get rid of your sunburn right away.
I do not use any serums or essences or eye creams whatsoever. I am still young and my skin is still during its 'youth'. Moreover, I do not have eyebags (thank GOD!) so I won't be needing an eye cream anytime soon. I'm not going to use products that my skin does not need.

I have a few tips on how to take care of your skin:
- Drink a lot of water. It helps in clearing out your pimples. Stay hydrated.
- Wash your pillowcase once a week. It's tedious but the oil that got transferred from your hair to your pillowcase will cause pimples.
- Wipe your face with a different towel and wash that towel regularly. Don't ever use your usual towel to wipe your face. Can you imagine wiping your whole body (your crotch and butt, OMG!) and putting that towel on your face? No. NO.
- Pull your hair back and don't let it get to your face. The oil on your hair is only good for your hair but bad for your skin.
- Don't touch your face with your fingers or palm of your hands. Bacteria alert!
I hope this post will help you in taking care of your skin. Stay healthy and fabulous, girls x
