Erin Talks: New Template from FearneCreativeDesign!

Hi everyone, how are you doing today? I am supposed to publish my favourite makeup brushes post by the end of the week (according to my blogging calendar, the post was supposed to be published yesterday) but do you know how lazy it is to take out the camera, do the setup and everything? With the cloudy weather hindering the perfect natural lighting needed to take good photos, I'm stuck y'all!

Anyway, I bet you notice something different going on with my blog. Well I bought a new template on Etsy called Gigi template by FearneCreativeDesign. I love this template a lot! However, there's a few things I would like to point out about this template:

First. It is not compatible with Blogger Template Designer meaning you have to change the fonts and whatnots manually. If you don't know html coding, I suggest you stay away from this kind of template.

Second. The comment section. There is no commenter icons and border around each comment making it look messy and hard to read. However, I will play around with the coding and hopefully I can resolve the issue with the help of google.

Other than that, I'm perfectly happy with it! I paid RM20.94 (USD5) for this template since it's on sale. The non-sale price is around RM80. Such a bargain!

Below is a screenshot of my blog. It's very clean and minimalistic just like how I prefer my blog to be with masonry/grid-style on the main page. However, if you click on a post, you can see my sidebar on the right which is rare to find with a grid-style template.
Buying blog templates is very therapeutic for me. I'm obsessed with finding templates on Etsy and going to everyone's blog to see where they get their templates. I must say that buying templates is more satisfying than spending money on makeup. It makes me feel good inside because my baby blog is beautiful. I am so happy with my blog right now. Though I will be even happier if I didn't procrastinate and get some posts up this week...

I hope you guys like my new template because I care what you think of this new look. If there is something that you think I should change about my blog, I take it as constructive criticism and please leave a comment. Anonymous pun okay kalau malu.

    Nice template erin.. Dengar kena edit code sendiri terus rasa tak nak beli.. Tak tahulah kalau kena buat sendiri. Hitam putih masih kekal bersama erin 😁👍😍

    Btw, siqah suka widget latest instagram. Erin edit sendiri or dah ada dalam template? If edit sendiri, boleh bagi tutorial? 😊

      eh takde kena edit sendiri pun. mcm mana dpt demo, mcm tu la kita dpt. kalau nak tukar font baru kena main coding. oh yang instagram tu memang ada dalam template :)

    I pun suka sangat beli templates kat Etsy. Pastu penyakit dia, dah bukak satu, terbukak yg lain, jumpa lagi lagi dan lagi end up tak tau nak pilih mana satu. Akibatnya terbeli la banyak buat stok. KAHKAH

    Oh my oh my !!!! Dear erin ... Nadia pun suka beli template from etsy . Dulu pakai yg template ada read more tab . Then minat yang lain tukar lain . Tapi tak suka sbb mcm serabut tapi biar dlu malas nak tukar . Then , saw your blog . I love your template . And u gave me an inspiration utk tukar . And I found one quite similar with fearne template style but different owner shop . The price also around rm20 . And , I having problem setting , installed and editing the template . Tak pandai sangat IT . Luckily the owner shop willing to help with free installation .

    And now , i totally love my blog template plus the domain . Hihihi .

    Really thankful erin because your blog giving much information for me to improve my blog looks .
