Hermo.my Haul

My package from Hermo.my came today and I am so excited to get my hands on the products! I ordered this on Friday last week with free shipping on order of two or more products. For some reasons I always do my online shopping nearing the weekends and it's painful to have to wait the entire weekend for them to arrive at my doorstep.

Each product came bubble-wrapped but obviously I tore them as soon as they came. I got two samples of AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid and a free Garnier Pink Pouch with purchase of Garnier products.

Everyone in the beauty community has turned to using micellar water to remove their makeup so I picked up this Garnier Skin Naturals Micellar Cleansing Water (RM24.90) to try. I know that BIODERMA has the best micellar water but I am not going to spend 40 dollars on a makeup remover. I think that is just too steep for what I can afford.

The Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask (RM43) is the best mask I have ever tried. I received a free sample tub last year and I love how I didn't get any breakouts from using this mask every week. My skin looked clear and I can see that my pores are less visible after a few usage. This product has been in my skincare wish list for quite a while and I am so happy that I have it now. Can't wait to use it tonight!

I don't think I need to introduce you to the Innisfree No-Sebum Mineral Powder (RM25). I'm running low on the one I'm currently using so I picked up another for back up. I'm pretty sure I won't go through this product as fast as I did with the old one because I have dry skin now and I won't be needing much setting on my face.

I hope you enjoyed this mini haul! Have you tried any of the products before?

October Mini Haul

Hi everyone, how are you today? I went out with my family to Alamanda today to run some errands. I got a few things from today's rendezvous and I'm loving everything I got. Honestly I just wanted a new facial wash but I managed to grab a few things along the way.

To be frank, I did not need more clothes but my mom forced me to get some new shirts and I picked these two in white and grey from Goggles. I really wanted the black shirt but unfortunately they only have it in size M. I'm wearing a size XL because I want to feel comfortable and not feel like a piece of cloth is sticking to my body.

I repurchased Simple Kind to Skin Moisturizing Facial Wash because like the name suggested, it is very kind to my sensitive and dry skin. The facial wash is mild and not harsh at all so if you like something stronger for your skin, then this probably won't suit you. This 2-pack retails for RM30 and you're saving RM10 because the price for one tube is RM20. I also picked up the Soothing Facial Toner that I've been wanting to try. This toner is 100% alcohol-free so if you're dry gals like me, this is perfect for you.

I added two new MAC Matte lipsticks in my MAC lipstick collection! I got the ones in Mehr (left) and Pink Plaid (right). Mehr is so beautiful! If Velvet Teddy looks brownish nude for my skin, then Mehr is sort of pinkish rosy nude. I love it so much and I can definitely see myself wearing it a lot in the future.

I hope you guys enjoyed my mini haul! Have you tried any of the products I just got?

TheBalm Nude Dude Palette

Hi everyone! First of all, SASA IS HAVING A WAREHOUSE SALE up to 70% off! My friend went there today so I asked her to buy me the Nude Dude Palette. The original price of this palette is RM155 but I got it for RM50! All the palettes are either RM50 or RM60 and the blush, bronzer, and Mary-Lou Manizer are RM30 only! Maybelline and L'Oreal have a buy 1 free 1 promotion so you guys really need to check it out! The promotion is until August 31st only and everything is selling out super fast.

I was contemplating between Nude Tude and Nude Dude but I went with Nude Dude because I didn't like the white (Sassy) and yellow (Snobby) shades in Nude Tude and that's two shades gone already. I like the rosy and brown shades in Nude Dude palette as those are the shades I'm always geared towards. Both palettes are beautiful in my opinion but unlike Nude Tude, I like all the shades in Nude Dude palette.

Here's a picture of Nude Tude palette to compare:

(My mom swatched some of the shades already)

Fearless, Flawless, and Fabulous are matte. These are perfect for highlighting the brow bone, blending, and crease colour. Firm, Faithful, and Fit are shimmer, perfect for the lids.

Feisty and Friendly are matte. Friendly is a deep, dark purple shade. Flirty, Fierce, Funny, and Fine are shimmer shades. Fine is a shimmery dark brown shade. You can check this out for an in-depth comparison between the two palettes and swatches.

Overall, I'm quite happy with this palette because it has all the colours I like to use for my eyeshadows. For RM50 after discount, this palette is definitely a steal!

TheBalm Mary-Lou Manizer

Hi everyone. TheBalm Mary-Lou Manizer has been in my wish list for the longest time but every time I tried to purchase one at Sasa, they were always out of stock. But today I went to Sasa IOI City Mall and they still have 6 (5 now because I got one!) Mary-Lou left! The sales assistant said that so many people are buying this highlighter thanks to the beauty community who can not stop raving about this product.

The original price is RM89 but Sasa is having a sale right now (August 2016) so you can get it for 10% off or purchase 2nd item from any participating brands and get it for 20% off! So I ended up paying RM75 with it + two packs of wet tissue as my 2nd item.

It comes in a silver plastic case and a huge mirror which I am thankful for. You get 8.5g of product and honestly that can last you for years! With highlighting, you don't need that much product for that awesome glow. I did swatch the product on my skin and to be honest I didn't want to touch the surface of the product because just look at how pretty it is! Aaah I haven't even tried it on my face and I'm already in love!

It's a honey-hued highlight that will give you an intense glow like BAM on your face kinda glow. As you can see from the swatches above, I was only using light hand to swatch because I don't want to ruin the surface of the highlighter so forgive me for not doing the swatches properly. You can check out the full review here.

I hope you enjoyed this post and please leave a comment down below if you have tried this highlighter or been wanting to try. x

Skincare Tryouts #1

Hi everyone. So I've been wanting to try a new skincare line for quite some time now but I had never gotten around to buying them because I have a really sensitive skin and I'm scared that I might get breakouts from trying new products. I was a Dnars skincare user before this and I had been using them for two years. You see, one of the reasons why I was scared to try new products was because you know how it is with local products, you might get rebound effect if you stop using them so I was scared of that. But I bought the Azanis Scar Serum and one of the benefits of that serum is it can help you if you have used a wrong product on your face. I did not get breakouts since I stopped using Dnars, alhamdulillah, but my skin turns really dry with a lot of patchy areas. I have been on the hunt for products for sensitive skin and this Simple Skincare fits the bill.

I have had oily skin for as long as I can remember. When my skin turns dry, I got really anxious because my acne soap is not cutting it anymore. If you have dry skin, it's best to avoid soaps or any kind of facial washes that produce a lot of foam as they can completely strip the oil off of your skin. With this facial wash, you only need a tiny amount of product and it doesn't have a lot of foam which I kind of didn't like at first but thinking of my super dry skin, I have to give in and get used to it.

If you're looking for an intense facial scrub, then this isn't the one for you. Go with the St. Ives Apricot Scrub instead. This scrub is fitting for sensitive skin as it is not harsh at all and my face does not turn red after using it which I really appreciate, provided you don't scrub your face too hard.

Based on the reviews I read of this product, the majority of them have been raving about it saying it is the best moisturiser that they have ever used. That is true. I am not saying it is a bad moisturiser. However, it didn't work like I expected it to on my dry skin. But it is a light moisturiser so I can't really blame the product. Nonetheless, this product is perfect for moisturising the face before primer as it absorbs into the skin like a dream. I needed an intense moisturiser so I have been reapplying it 4-6 times a day (which I just found out is NOT good!) and it drives me a bit nuts when there isn't any changes I see on my dry areas.

I have a few products from this line that I still want to try such as their toner, micellar water, cleansing lotion, face mask, and night cream. I might have to get some of them online though because they're sold out everywhere. Anyway, what skincare products are you using right now? Do you know any homemade remedies that might work for my dry skin?

August Makeup Haul

Hi everyone, how are you today? I went out with my boyfriend to IOI City Mall just now to watch Suicide Squad. Harley Quinn is bae, okay! She is so gorgeous despite her crazy ass attitude and horrible makeup. I did some makeup shopping after the movie and lunch. To be honest, I only needed two things though: a moisturiser and theBalm Mary Lou Manizer highlighter. but I couldn't find Sasa anywhere! It's frustrating.

I went to Watsons to get a moisturiser from Simple. I heard great reviews about this product especially because it is suitable for sensitive skin so I picked up Kind to Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser. I have oily skin but for some reasons for the past few weeks, my skin has been so dry so I went with the hydrating one instead of the oil balancing.

At Sephora, I was looking for NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream because let's be real: they are always out of stock but today is my lucky day because I think they just restocked because so many shades are still available. I got one in Stockholm. I tried it on at home and it's the perfect nude for me!

I was about to go to the cashier when I saw the NYX Full Throttle Shadow Palette staring at me, pulling me to touch it. So what did I do? I swatched it and oh my, the pigmentation is really good! So I got one in FTSP05 Take Over Control.

Last stop: MAC Cosmetics. To be completely and utterly honest, I wasn't planning to buy anything but I swatched Taupe, Velvet Teddy, Honey Love, Mocha, Kinda Sexy, and a few other lipsticks on my hand that I decided I wasn't going to walk out of MAC without getting a lipstick. I got the Matte Lipstick in Velvet Teddy and oh I'm in love! I really wanted Taupe or Mocha but they are very similar to my MAC Mineralize Rich Lipstick in Glamour Era. Honey Love is too pale and Kinda Sexy is too pink for me.

That's it for this makeup haul! Please let me know if you want review + swatches of these products or any products that I own (check out my Beauty categories for more makeup posts.) I hope you enjoyed this post while I go cry in the corner because I'm broke.

July Mini Haul

Hello my lovelies. Today I went out with my family to pick up some stuff that we needed for Eid. I needed a pair of shoes because I lost two pairs already from 1. tearing; and 2. they broke. We went to The Mines for the shoes and everything else from Alamanda. I thought I would do a mini haul of the stuff I got. I hope you enjoyed this post!
BELLE green necklace

It was on 90% sale so I had to get it. Besides, it matches my outfit for Eid. (yes I'm wearing green this year just in case you're curious.) It's a very interesting statement necklace. I'm hoping they don't tangle by the time I needed to wear it.
NIVEA Creme body moisturizer

This Nivea creme moisturizer is probably the best moisturizer I have ever used on my body. It's rich and thick and very moisturizing. And the most important thing is it's not greasy at all once it's absorbed into the skin.
THE SHOE COLLECTION black sandal

I've had my eyes on this design for a long time but I've never been around to getting it. Since I lost two pairs of shoes, I thought it would be fitting to get a new pair that I can wear with any types of outfit. I'm very picky about my shoes so I really hope this new pair will not disappoint me (or tear on me while I'm out wearing them) (yes, it happened last week while I'm out with my boyfriend)
LADY MIDNIGHT (The Dark Artifices #1) by Cassandra Clare

This one has been on top of my book wishlist for two weeks and I had to get it. It's under The Shadowhunter Chronicles by Cassandra Clare. There are 4 series in the Shadowhunter Chronicles with ten books already out and another 5 books TBA. I have all 10 books which comprises of The Infernal Devices (3 books), The Mortal Instruments (6 books), and The Dark Artifices which is Lady Midnight. The second book is coming out April next year. The fourth series which is The Last Hours is set to come out next year also.

There were two things that I expected to be in my bag today but they were not. The first one is my MAC charged water skin hydrating mist. I got ready in a hurry and I forgot to set my makeup with a setting spray. I was hoping to use the mist in the car but I realised it wasn't in my bag by the time we hit the road. The second thing is a pen. I was pumped to write my name, phone number, and the date on the new book I got but the pen was not in my bag, too. Lesson learned. I'm putting everything I possibly need in my bag to avoid future disappointment and you should, too.

May Collective Haul

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone!

I am back with a mini haul of stuff that I got for the past week or so. Two things that are not in this haul are my tempered glass and a clear case for my phone that I had been searching nooks and crannies for and I got them at The Mines. So kudos to that chinese akak who had them sold at her store and boo HTC counter. You didn't even have my tempered glass and case *insert rolling eyes emoji here*
 Dustproof plug

Although its main purpose is to block any dusts to get into your headphone jack of your phone, I totally 100% bought these for their aesthetic purpose because they are so cute! They are sold at RM10 for 3, at least at the store where I bought it.
Premium Nobluk contact lens in brown

These are the lens that I used before and I repurchased them because I loved how they looked and I loved how I looked when I wore them. RM30 including shipping, totally worth it! I bought it at @nislenshop on Instagram.
 Maybelline Pure Mineral Concealer

I used this concealer on my blemishes two years ago and I loved it but I got a new one from NYX and I think the NYX one does a better job at hiding my blemishes. However, a few months back I tried my housemate's concealer (which is this one) and I used it under my eyes. Surprisingly, it does a very good job concealing the under eyes and it's very inexpensive so I'm saving a big bucks here. I think it retails for under RM20.
 Farra Beauty Super Glowing Foundation

I will do a review of this foundation and how I ended buying it (mom I'm looking at you) so please wait for that blog post. I am using it right now and I kinda have my opinions on it already but I'm not going to spoil it here! I bought it at @farrabeauty on Instagram for RM40 (offer price).
Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks

I will also do a review on these liquid lipsticks from Colourpop so wait for the blog post! I have told this story on my snapchat already (ID: erinvictus) but for the sake of those of you who have not followed me there, I actually wanted to buy two colours for myself but it was Mother's Day the next day so I got the red one for mama. I went to her room in the middle of the night, woke her up from her sleep and asked her to choose which colour she liked best without telling her that I was buying it for her. The next day, I picked it up from my friend's house (she's selling this with a limited stock) and surprised mama along with a McCafe. They had Mother's Day special price. One of these retails at RM40. I have another friend who sells Colourpop lipsticks if you're interested (but a bit pricier): @hiccupsmakeups on Instagram.

I hope you enjoyed my mini haul and I will be back with reviews on the contact lens, foundation, and liquid lipsticks. What are your thoughts of these? Have you tried any of them? x

Something Borrowed Chain Bags from ZALORA

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone!

I am back again with another bag haul from ZALORA that I basically paid nothing for as I was offered to do another collaboration with them a few days ago by Miss Norain. To be completely honest, I really need somebody to stop me from buying more bags but I legit only browse for bags on every online store I go to. I have a problem, I know..

I wanted to buy clothes but none of them fits my style, unfortunately. Shoes? I need to try on shoes in person before buying them therefore getting them online is a no-no for me. Makeup? For some reason the voucher can't be used for makeup. I would have gotten the other 5 Maybelline Color Tattoo that I really like. Oh well. That only left me with one option: bags.

There was this one forest green tote bag that I really liked but before I could check out, it was already sold out. I cried bloody tears. So I opted for smaller bags so my sister can use them too. (Mom forced me to share with her) (I didn't really want to) (#consofbeingabigsister).
The first bag is Something Borrowed Double Strap Satchel Bag in beige. It looked sort of pinkish on the website but don't be fooled, it's actually in beige. It comes with a removable long chain. I would prefer using this bag without the chain, though. The chain looks kinda tacky to me.
This is how it looks like up close. Very sturdy bag but you do have to put something inside to get the desired shape. It looks flat without anything inside. I have a few crumpled papers and plastic inside to expand the compartment.
I can tell you that your belongings will be very secured in this bag as it has metal clasp closure and also zip fastening for the main compartment. On the inside, you have 2 pockets and 1 zipped pocket. A really nice bag if you're going to run errands and have brunch with girlfriends ah so fancy! So very the mat saleh.
4 words. THIS BAG IS GORGEOUS. It's the Classic Chain Crossbody bag, also from Something Borrowed. The stitching on the bag makes it more interesting and the chain is not tacky like the first bag! You can style this bag as crossbody or as shoulder bag. I would go for crossbody, though. Didn't really like it as shoulder bag.
The gold closure is very cute. I wonder how this bag would look like if the closure and chain are in rose gold instead of just the usual gold? That would be really interesting. You only have 1 pocket inside but I don't think you can really put anything in it because it is too small. The only thing that would probably fit in there is a few cards. The lining on the inside is brown. I'm not sure about the material but it is definitely fabric.

Both of the bags are on sale for MYR49 (RP: MYR79) each so go get it if you're interested!

On a different note, I have Bath & Body Works hand sanitizer holder on my ZALORA bag that I use daily right now (not that I go out everyday I'm usually stuck at home with my laptop).

ZALORA Panelling Medium Tote Bag

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone!

In case you're not following my blog, I did a collaboration with Zalora and in return I got a MYR100 cash voucher to spent at their website. I spent legit an hour Friday last week on their website looking for bags. I am really picky and indecisive and there are a lot of cute bags at Zalora. I ended up with their own brand bag, the Panelling Medium Tote Bag. I love structured and spacious bag because I can put a lot of stuff in it. Sometimes I carry junk. I got it in grey but I think it's currently out of stock so the only available colours right now are black and white.
The package came in today while I was having lunch with kuah asam pedas all over my fingers. Yep. I need to pay extra 5 ringgit because the price of this bag is a little over my MYR100 voucher. Their delivery is exquisite. If you ordered today, you can get your package in just 1, 2 business days. I love it! I hate waiting for a long time for my package to come. iHerb, I'm talking about you.
I haven't even showed you the bag but I'm already showing you the inside. Oh, Erin. The inside looks like the picture above (obviously!), you have two pockets, 1 of them is zipped. The material inside the bag, however, is not cloth. It's 100% polyurethane, whatever that is. You know talking about chemistry thing made me think of my cita-cita tak kesampaian, which is a pharmacist. In parallel universe, I hope I am one. (You can see my toes there) (please don't enlarge the photo and zoom)
First impression:

THIS BAG. IS. GORGEOUS. It looks exactly like how it looks like on the website. The bag itself is very light and sturdy. The shape of it reminds me of Celine Phantom bag which the majority of us could not afford. *coughrichusbandcough* in case you're wondering about the harry on my sister's shirt, she's wearing lol ur not harry styles t shirt. Yes. I did beg her for that shirt. She wouldn't give it to me knowing perfectly well that I'm Harry's wife. Duh, come on!
It also came with a long strap if you prefer that. I would use the top handle when I'm feeling fancy during the first 15 minutes of going out and the second it hit 16th minute, long strap! I have no complaints about this bag although I would suggest you to not put heavy stuff in it just to be safe because it's not leather and it might rip or something. Better be safe than sorry, right?
